Hi!
(Using Mazatrol)
So I have a situation where I have to index the B axis to 45° and mill a slot perpendicular to the Z axis at B0°. However, the machine automatically uses G68 to line up with the tool at a given angle.
So, I want to negate this effect so that I can program easier. As of...
So I have a little difficulty visualizing what's actually happening here with a cnc machine. Is the Z starting point of the threading cycle starting further in each time so that the back edge gets clearence after the initial cut?
For others it may be, I thought I'd make a guide with pictures and everything when I have the time. Along with a step 1. xx 2.xx and so on. Mostly for the company I work for but might as well post it here.
I solved it. Turns out that like everything else it isn't really difficult. Just that the information regarding how it's done is scarce or people are unwilling to share it.
Hello!
So we are trying to adjust the rotation center because Z0 is different in B0 vs B90 by 0.2mm. I know you adjust by manipulating BA61 and BA62 parameters. But how do you go about in getting the right amount to shift in each parameter?
We have two indicators set up to Zero in both axis in...
Your contour doesn’t make any sense to me. You use bar back unit, but the first line is like a regular bar out unit. You start from the wrong direction that is. Then you go… you are using some special tool to make a weird recess of some kind or..?
I think that studying math and learning how to calculate stuff yourself, not depend on software all the time, improves your ability to think in all areas and gives you more brain power to work with.
Hello, (Edit: it’s a Matrix 2 control)
So on the tool path check the machine excludes the nose radius of our tools from the programmed value in the position display.
So for example Z2.0 in the program Will read as Z1.6 in the position display during tpc if using a tool with nose radius 0.4...
