This didn't just start last month tho. No matter what the Post says, there are real reasons for Russia's behavior and Putin is not a madman.

To me, this is why the US loses every confrontation we've been involved in for the past seventy-five years. (Okay, we beat up Grenada. Be still, my heart.) The imbeciles in Worshington can't ever see the other person's side. And our side sucks, so in the end the US loses. Every arfing time.

p.s. Seymour - had to be running a bunch of gas through Ukraine in 2006 because cutting it off just about froze Yurop. And if Nord 1 was big enough, they wouldn't have spent billions buildng Nord 2. So I'ma gonna make a conclusion that even recently, lots of Russia gas was going through Ukraine. And somehow, the timing of all this is connected.

USA is under the spotlight always. It is envy. Let those without sin throw the first stone. Besides the people living today are not to be blamed for something they never did. I know it is popular to try that but it really does not work well.

It surprises me you are so supportive of Putins view now what changed? Oh yeah the pact between China and the RF. Don’t look too close as Xi has gotten a real good sense of the actual reality of this screwed up war.

When a 737 becomes a lawn dart, is it poor quality control on off the shelf parts, and/or lack of professional maintenance?

It makes no sense that russia owns Konigsburg/Kalingrad. Just before this war broke out putin sent a 75 kiloton LNG tanker there so they would have gas. AFAIK it is still there port.

Don't forget the possibility of foul play or pilot suicide/murder.

The 737 or any other Boeing/Airbus are all incredibly safe ways to travel. Order of magnitude safer than driving. When flown by a western country they are even safer.

It was only stolen from trump but the republicons that got elected on the same ballots that Biden won on are all good. A person would need to be somewhat challenged to find this argument plausible.

I wonder if there are any scheduled U.S. major airlines using any 737 series for trans-Atlantic flights? Only thing I could find stated Aloha Airlines 'operated' 737s between Hawaii and the U.S. mainland...makes no mention of Europe. Might be more comfortable to be on a larger aircraft in first class.

Boeing says they will be re-locating Global Headquarters to Arlington, VA, Also will be building a R&D facility there.

No doubt another setback for Chicago.

More setbacks for Boeing....seems like they can't seem to move a couple programs forward. The 777X 5 years behind schedule (airfreight) and the 737 MAX 10.

Climate change and a whole lot of other issues will likely have great impact on commercial as well as military aviation. Both of the BIG players--Boeing and Airbus are in good part reliant on government spending so it's doubtful either will exit the aircraft business although no doubt commercial aviation is going to go through great changes. Boeing selling off it's commercial aircraft headquarters in Seattle(Renton?) a year or so ago and now announcing Global Headquarters will move to Virginia might signal a move away from commercial aviation with more emphasis on the military side of things.

Who knows...At one time it was said someone like Elon Musk could never break into automotive mass production and now Tesla is delivering a million or more cars a year. Maybe someone with a fresh ideas and working from a clean slate develop aircraft that will service future generations.

Possibly a renewed interest and $$commitment$$ to high speed rail? Should be a great future for those high tech engineer types along with more opportunity for foreign countries in aerospace manufacturing.
