What's wrong with Wheelie's thread?

Now that is weird.
PM definitely has some wacky issues going on.
With as many people as there are having issues, you would think somebody would look in to it...............

I just replied to my thread, with basically WTF. To see if I would be able to see that. Nope. Gilles's post on 12/16/20 is still the last thing I see.

J Gilles post #5520 has been showing as the last post for a couple of days now
Yet on the forum header it shows Wheelie has posted but doesn't show on his thread

Shows up fine in tapatalk on my phone, but on pc it ends where everyone else's does.

The one thing that makes me the most is that it says that there is 518 replies (with the new one from Mr. King) and yet Gilles post that has been there for some time is numbered 520. And I know that there is at least 2 or 3 posts made since then that topped the thread to begin with.

The other weird thing I noticed is: if you click the arrow far right under Last Post By, it doesn't take you to the last (visible) post.
It takes you to the top of the last page.

I just posted, cant see my post. one thing I forgot to notice is if my post count changed. so if anyone posts on wheelies thread notice your post count before and after you do.

Admin will have to run a reindex on it. Ive seen it happen before on very long threads. it also might be in the database.
I cant remember the exact thing we did but its a tool in the admin section and takes a while with a board this big. I believe the newer version of Vb this one has it where you can do forum section via forum section.

Has nothing to do with Cache I believe as I aint getting the typical cache issues you see when there is a cache problem. you would also see it in other threads as well and it only seems to be this one particular thread.

I just put tapatalk on my phone last night (which I really had no interest in doing) but,
I can see the whole thread using it. I was also able to post a pic in Dave's small VMC thread (which I have not been able to do for a looooong time).
But, what a convolute, add riddled, PITA tapatalk is!
