I did not mean to say your price out of line,..... seems not a bad deal at all if one has a use for it.
Looks to be a very good machine. Thanks
If it was closer to Flint I'd likely grab it.

Oh I know, I was just saying they’ve gone for a decent price at some recent auction in like 2 minutes lol. But even listed on eBay I have no watchers. I don’t get it either.

It's probably going to bring more just being a Cincinnati. And yeah, Monosets are the bomb for radius grinding. They can also grind a helical tool from solid, generating their own helix, which many tool grinders can't do.

Sold it. I have an early 90's, one of the last ones Cincinnati made I'm in the process of refurbishing. That ones a keeper though.

Q (Is it $3000 better than the Elliot that finally sold for $500?)
The Monoset can run and pick up a spiral/helix and grind a radius, and quickly dress angles and radiuses to a wheel with just a diamond holder. ..the Elliot can't with not having accessories for each.

They are different categories with the Monoset a better machine for few-up specials and the Elliot more a hot rod (faster) machine for sharpening just about anything., IMHO

$3k is a decent price for the Monoset / $500 for the likes of the Elliot is an extraordinary bargain.

Seeing the price for a new like machine of the Monoset and the Elliot would surprise many here.
