I have a cheap scope that has one of the adjusters going the opposite direction from the markings on it. Took me awhile to figure that one out.
Often they are “miss labeled”I have a cheap scope that has one of the adjusters going the opposite direction from the markings on it. Took me awhile to figure that one out.
I think some of them could be popped out and switched around. I tend to use the 'RH Rule' with scopes, and that's what the markings suggested I think. And looking thru the scope while turning the adjuster is rather confusing as to which way the reticle *should* be moving.Often they are “miss labeled”
UP will bring the Cross hair down, Down brings the cross hair up. Or impacts.
I have a older japan made nikkon the turrets are miss labeled when mounted top turret says Left Right side says Up and Down you can rotate the scope to the left to correct it but then the reticle is sideways, 3 post style, lol
Just always think oposite.I think some of them could be popped out and switched around. I tend to use the 'RH Rule' with scopes, and that's what the markings suggested I think. And looking thru the scope while turning the adjuster is rather confusing as to which way the reticle *should* be moving.
Anyway, all is well ... Sharpie to the rescue.
Yeah, just have to think. And after *years* of shooting with irons it kind of messes with your head.Just always think oposite.
The Reticle is the front sight.
If your reticle moves up your impacts go down. And down is up , right is left and left is right
Well that depends on the the platform , there is not a lot of guns these days with adjustable front sights.Yeah, just have to think. And after *years* of shooting with irons it kind of messes with your head.
