As per your request... Late model ten inch K head that "had" plastic handles... There are two of these screws ducked behind the crank... These screws are 180 degrees apart.
YVW! Looks like I may need to make two new screws for mine as the flats are getting quite rounded... Those screws have a shoulder on them and there is not much but an open end wrench that well turn them with the crank on.. Cheers from Louisiana; Ramsay 1
Guys, The previous owner obviously did some work to this thing. Can someone take a picture of the front of their dividing head (obviously if you have the model K), so I can see how the sector arms lock in place, and see how the 1:1 ratio gear interacts with the 5:1?
It looks as though someone drilled and tapped more holes somewhere along the line as the existing holes probably had the threads stripped... There is NO need to tighten those screws to such an extent... You may well have to either find a new sector set or maybe you can use the old holes with a larger screw... Cheers from Louisiana...
