I used to wear the Casio calculator watch's. Even with the tiny buttons (use a pencil, not your finger) they're super handy for quick math. My last one, the rubber strap ripped and I switched to a Dakota pocket watch that has held up well.

I used to wear watches on the cheapo thin nylon straps. I can tell you they scare you if something gets snagged on them because they do not tear.

Cole2354 No not the tac. model, just the normal black one. Ive had it about 6 months and so far I like it. Built well for a plastic and rubber watch.

I really don't like watches, but I could learn to like the HP calculator watch :drool5:

I think I wore out 3 Casio watches over 5 or 6 years. I keep a Casio graphing calculator face up in one of my tool box's thin drawers now, but I used to "cheat" all the time using the wrist calculator for all the math that I should have done in my head.

At the moment, a Gruen Precision ca. 1965. It needs to be wound every morning.
Until I found out what it was worth, a Rolex Milgauss ref.#1019. It now resides in a safe deposit box.

I wear a Howard railroad chronometer seies 11,
which despite being nearly 100 years old keeps time to a minute a month and never gives any trouble even after I pull it apart every few years soak it out in methylene chloride and re-oil it with the much despised WD40!!

Charles.

Good way to destroy that watch. I've had one for 30+ years and cleaned it - properly - thrice. I truly doubt your claim of accuracy given the abuse.
