Anyone have any software recommendations?

We use Kronos. It may be a little to much cost wise and maybe more suitable for a large corp. It keeps track of everything. Never know maybe they have something without all the bells & whistles.

We got a physical clock off of Amazon that you punch in your code and press in or out. You connect it to the local network and just log on to the page it hosts and it has reports of hours for everyone, clock in/out status, cumulative hours, overtime, total pay, payroll reports, etc.

I was originally looking for a tablet based system but this way is much easier.

We even have codes for certain jobs, so we can clock in and out of a big project instead of tracking it ourselves.

Edit: nonsubscription, does not need to connect online, and allows you to use all 9999 codes if you wanted.

Would you have a link for the one you purchased. I was looking into those too but reviews seemed mixed. Thanks for your reply

We have an Icontime TotalPass P400

I see they are more expensive than I remember but it still seems worth it.

I'd recommend a fingerprint time clock like this one. Does all the calculating and more. Can print out a time sheet with all the hours tabulated and ready for sign off. I have an older one and am very happy with it. No more time cards and definitely no buddy punching.

My coworkers are either way too gross or too clumsy to have readable fingerprints at the end of the day.

Might work for clocking in, but even then that scanner would need to be wiped down several times per day

Controversial Edit: owners or managers should actually show up to work here and there and they would probably notice people clocked in who aren't there.
