Hi I appreciate your response and I'd like to talk on the phone of possible, if you're interested. I had these made and other than the mechanical design, which I like, the materials have been a crap shoot while I experiment. I've designed a very similar motor that I intend to make hollow but unsure how hollow it can be and I've been hunting for an engineer that could figure it out. I got a quote for the shaft in ti but decided it was too much at like 6x as much and the thermal conductivity is much lower and a drawback.
