Anyone have a QIDI TECH X-Plus 3D Printer

I can't edit my original post, and wanted to update it.

Anyone have a QIDI TECH X-Plus 3D Printer

I does sound like it could be a filament issues, but I have had printer problems with my Prusa Mini+ that manifest like filament issues. Have you tried running another type of filament through your printer, just to confirm whether it's printer or filament related?

Source for MK8 M7 nozzles (for Qidi X-Plus II)?

MK10 M7 is what they sent me. I just looked on Amazon and there are cheap ones for sale, so I guess they are the commodity variety. I also see the Micro Swiss nozzles on MatterHackers.

Source for MK8 M7 nozzles (for Qidi X-Plus II)?

Thank you! I'm familiar with that company and see that they might have a solution. I find it totally bizarre that these nozzles are more available. I thought nozzles were a commodity item.

    FS: KDK 200 QCTP + 7 holders

That's a solid deal! Very nice. From what I recall, the KDK QCTPs have the same size dovetails across most (all?) of the sizes (e.g 100, 150, 200, etc...). Unlike a Dorian, I'm pretty sure you could use a 150 tool holder on a 200 tool post and vise versa, though there are logical limits. That...

Source for MK8 M7 nozzles (for Qidi X-Plus II)?

Yeah, they told me the original nozzles were incorrect, however I don't yet trust that they know what's going on and so I still don't believe I know what's correct. Currently they're saying MK10 M7 for both extruders. Before they said MK8 M7 for low temp and MK10 M7 for high temp, which is how...

Source for MK8 M7 nozzles (for Qidi X-Plus II)?

I ordered nozzles from Qidi via AliExpress for both low- and high-temp extruders. I was told that the low-temp extruder took MK8 M7 nozzles and the high-temp took MK10 M7 nozzles. In both cases, the ID on the incoming side is small and doesn't allow for insertion of a PTFE tube. I was...

Source for MK8 M7 nozzles (for Qidi X-Plus II)?

To add a little more color, most of the MK8 nozzles have an M6 threaded stem. The MK8 M7 has an M7 threaded stem. The MK10 has an M7 stem, but the ID is larger to allow clearance for an internal PTFE tube

Anyone have a QIDI TECH X-Plus 3D Printer

I realize this is an old thread, but it caught my eye because I just purchased a Qidi X-Plus II. I've been using a Prusa Mini+ for about 15 months now, and needed another printer to increase production and also easily get into nylon and polycarbonate. I've only been using the Qidid for 5 days...

Source for MK8 M7 nozzles (for Qidi X-Plus II)?

I just recently picked up a Qidi X-plus II in order to print with Nylon and Polycarbonate. For those familiar with Qidi, it is the successor of the original Qidi X-Plus. It's my second 3D printer. One of the two included extruders (for low-temp prints) uses an MK8 m7 nozzle. and this is not...

Looking for a good mid grade 3d printer to get started with.

Another vote for Prusa. I have a Prusa Mini+, which is too small for what you seek, but it's awesome. And the Prusa slicer is really packed with options. I find that I rarely make parts larger than 7x7x7, and I print a ton of stuff. I just got a Qidi X-plus yesterday and will open the box...

Should it spin by hand? Hrt servo

And, it's done. Everything is clean, reassembled and working, for now. Fingers crossed. I ended up having to print the keypad frame, in addition to the white keys as mentioned before. The original was fatigued from removal. I don't have the air hooked up in the video, but it does work...

    10hp RPC value?

A new 10hp American Rotary is about $1000, so that is another data point for you. There's an independent guy here in LA who builds RPC's as a business and sells/advertises them on Craigslist. No affiliation. I just always see his ads and talked to him once. He seems fair and is currently...

Should it spin by hand? Hrt servo

The box came together nicely and I also rebuilt the cable using new, more flexible conduit. The old conduit was like a hula hoop.

Should it spin by hand? Hrt servo

I finally have an update. I've been cleaning up the electrical box. At least 3 of the keys weren't working unless I pushed on them really hard, which was annoying, and they were pretty dirty. Here's the before shot. I snapped it as I was trying to remove the keypad. FWIW, it slides out of...

Suggestions for conduit for Rotary Table 14-pin cable

Suggestions for conduit for Rotary Table 14-pin cable

Did the indexers come with that conduit originally? I see it's out of Japan, especially with a name like Nipo. Have you seen it available for sale in the US?

Suggestions for conduit for Rotary Table 14-pin cable

I've been bringing back to life an early '90s Haas HRT9 (9" rotary table) that I picked up at auction. You can read about the process here. One of the gremlins I found was a wire break (the air brake wire) in the 14-pin main cable between the servo controller and the table. As preventative...

Should it spin by hand? Hrt servo

Success! It works! I talked to someone from the local Haas shop who was really helpful. He took the time to help me reset my Servo Controller for the HRT9. It should have already been set up, but who knows. I'll take it. So, my repairs all worked. First, he had me first unlock the...
