    Fryer MB10 with Anilam 3000 not homing all the way

    My boss just picked this machine up and can't home it. It will go to home in Z, and the display resets Z to 0, then it just sits there. No alarms or anything. Any ideas on this? Thanks!

    PSA: Be careful if you let Edgecam maintenance expire

    You can not get another copy of the last version your license was good for from them unless you pay for maintenance again. If you let your maintenance expire make sure you have a copy of the installer backed up!

    Who can recommend an insert drill for stainless with only flood coolant?

    We have about 1,000 holes 1.187 +/- .005 to put through 1/4" 304 stainless bars. Unfortunately no thru coolant here. There's also another 1200 of these holes to go through 5/16" brass plate. These both get counterbored but I can do that with an endmill. While we're at it there's a third thru...

    Is there a way to copy program at the control Brother CNC-A00

    In the "Directory Of Program" I see a Copy/Check option (F2 I think), so I assumed that would copy a program but no matter what I type before hitting that button I get an "Input Data Error". Can't find anything in the books either. Thanks!

    Brother TC-31A, Tapping In Y axis?

    CNC A00 control... Is there a way to use our 90 degree head to tap the front of a part in Y on this thing? I don't see a plane selection option (G17, 18, 19) in the book so I'm guessing no, but it doesn't hurt to ask right? Thanks!

    Tap sharpening?

    We use these 1.150"-32 6 flute taps, they used to get sharpened for us by a company that either doesn't do it anymore or is out of business. Not sure which. Either way, I told the boss I'd ask here. Can anyone recommend someone to sharpen these? We have about 25 of them right now. Thanks

    24,000 6-32 holes to make, how fast can I go?

    The material is 1/8" thick cold rolled. It came on a coil before it was stamped, it's pretty soft. I have OSG Hypro cut taps. Last time I ran them at 2560 RPM, I think the Brother TC-31A machine is capable of tapping at up to 8000 rpm. How fast can you push a 6-32 cut tap (drilling .110 dia.)?

    Is there a trick to getting these SK10 collets out of the collet nuts?

    DT-1 does not retract all the way in Z before moving X and Y
