Machine Shop Tours: Quality Machine and Automation

Joe Cottrell from Quality Machine and Automation took us inside his shop and showed us how they use their advanced CNC machines to make parts for the medical, aerospace and robotics industries.

Located in the Centerville (Utah), Quality Machine and Automation has been manufacturing production/prototype precision machined parts, tooling and fixturing for over 20 years. Founded in 1996 by Shane Cottrell, the shop started off with just a Fadal, a Victor CNC and a few manuals and kept growing ever since. Nowadays, the facility is equipped with advanced machines, such as a Quick Tech 9 axis turn/mill and a Makino A51 Horizontal mill, and strives to serve companies in a variety of industries by providing quality products while being fair with the price.
