Methods Machine Tools Welcomes William Keim as Texas/Louisiana General Manager
Industry veteran sales leader has 25+ years in capital equipment and metrology solutions.
Sudbury, Massachusetts— Methods Machine Tools, the foremost supplier of high-quality, high-precision CNC machine tools, automation, and engineering services in North America welcomes William “Bill” Keim as their new General Manager for Texas and Louisiana.
Mr. Keim, most recently a business sales manager at Zeiss, is a 25+ year veteran of the capital equipment and metrology solutions industries. He assumes leadership of Methods’ sales, services, and operations throughout Texas and Louisiana.
“Our leadership team got to know Bill quite well over the last few years through our collaboration and integrated selling motions with Zeiss, a longtime partner of Methods,” said Mark Wright, Methods President and CEO. “When this opportunity opened, Bill quickly came to mind given his familiarity with our company, our industry, and his long track record of sales and team-building excellence. We’re thrilled he’s come on board.”
“Joining Methods is an amazing opportunity,” said Keim. “It’s a company with a long, rich history in our industry, but one laser-focused on the future. For years, I’ve seen the growth of their portfolio of world-class CNC machines, industry-best engineering services and support, and the wonderful people that make this company go.”
Methods expanded into Texas in late 2021 upon its acquisition of Houston- and Dallas-based Koch Machine Tool. Shortly after, Methods announced a new 285,000-square foot production and distribution facility in Fort Worth, Texas, slated to open in 2023. Keim’s arrival is focused on growing Methods’ presence and share of the local markets.
“Manufacturers and shop owners face challenges on many fronts, whether it’s the labor crunch, technology gaps, or need for process and quality improvements.” Said Keim. “For those who may not yet know the Methods name, our team stands ready to serve customers throughout the region to adopt a full lifecycle of solutions and services they need to grow their businesses.”
