dropped a sawbuck bid on automated tool crib--it appeared to have 12 cutting tool inserts in 6 trays
cut 40 year old unit open with abrasive saw--found inserts lodged in every crevice --plastic cassetts so old
they crumbled on touch--210 inserts recovered

take home lesson--this style tool crib vendor is better suited for Dr Bronners Magic Bars

John, where do you find the time to acquire and rip apart all this stuff? Even just the projects you write about here on PM would keep me busy practically fulltime, and I know you have other things you do with your time.
