Its a mix of old WW2 machines and cnc mills . We started 13 years ago in a 1,000 sq foot building and have moved into a 6,000 ft shop 400 amp main .Everything in the shop is paid for as it should be.Nearly all the machines we run daily are US made , we try our best to walk the talk !We have recently won auctions at government liquidations that has made large improvements on what we can produce .The broach and Lagun were 2 machines I could have only dreamed about when I was younger doing this work with my Dad . I started when I was around 10 , that was about 30 years ago .

Its been a learning curve for me taking on the cnc machines , The 1996 Lagunamatic is a breeze I can do a spinny on the pad , the Fryer is conversational control and more logical ,but is harder to program in my opinion on certain things. We are making flnages and yokes for some new transfercases coming out now , along with using some of our machines to fix other machines . That's the cool part for me.

Thanks for showing us around your shop, looks like you are quite specialist with the driveline stuff ,is that your own product or is it subcontract work ,do you do jobbing type work as well?

Great looking turning off your lathes.

I'm surprised noone has mentioned the gloves while using the broach ,be carefull out there!

We do machine work and driveline fabrication both , As for the gloves there nitrile - they will rip before even thinking about pulling me in .
All the stuff you see is our own design .

The fryer and lagun are mostly US made run them both every day .

What part of Lagun is US? They are from Spain right? Not that I really care about the quote but I am surprised and had no idea either machine you mentioned was mostly US made. The Fryer machines used to be made in Taiwan and imported.

I can at least appreciate that you thought that was the case.
But you may want to downplay your motto for a while 'till you edit your inhouse arrangement. ;)
