I have a Hommel Center Lathe. It came with a 12" Face Plate/4 Jaw Chuck as well as a 10" # Jaw.
It has two gearboxes. The main drive goes through the main box behind the head stock and the other box below drives the lead screw to give the ability to cut both Metric threads as well as Imperial. The plaque telling which levers to set to give Imperial threads is so worn that the diagram is unreadable.
If someone had even a photo of the unreadable plaque I would be grateful but a operators Manual would be fantastic (holy grail)
I am in Australia. All my trolling the internet only found two similar lathes but they didn't help much. I have sent Emails to the "now" company in Germany but their archives did not go back far enough to have this lathe in it. I also sent an Email to Tony Griffiths in the UK but he had nothing either.
