    Scraping tool inserts alternative?

    I came across some C2 stock available from Mcmaster, H6N grade. I know it's not the H10 of the Sandvik but does anyone know if that stuff would be worth a go? $80 for a 1/16" x 1" x 6" piece of it vs. $50 per insert (min order qty of (5) everywhere I've looked)
