Hello,
My name is Nick. I am about to graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology in May. Though my education is in electrical engineering, I am passionate about manufacturing processes. Any chance to expand my knowledge base through hands on training would be amazing. I have some experience on manual and cnc mills and lathes, but I am not a machinist. I have had IT (computer support) roles in the past, but don't want that as a full time job. Fixing the odd computer issues here and there is fine.
I am the lead machinist for our college's baja and robotics teams, and start as a student worker in a machine shop this semester.
My ultimate goal is to work for a small to medium size company in product development, industrial maintenance, or production.
Not looking to get rich. Just want a job that I enjoy that allows me to live comfortably in the area.
Willing to relocate almost anywhere in the US.
