    slotter tooling

    If you slot on your mill,use the outrigger tie bars to stop the thing flexing excessively.....if the slotter is driven by the spindle ,feather the clutch so the tool doesnt get broken with a sudden bite ...........i found the mill accessory slotters difficult to use compared to a dedicated slotter.

    Dunno about US ,but here I notice small wheel two axle trucks with 16 ton gross legal...........so it would be quite possible to carry 9 tons on a 16ton GVW truck legally.
