I figured out how to power them up and run a motor. If you type in the part number in google you can download the manual(which is not overly helpful). I tried installing a remote potentiometer and switch, the pot did nothing to control the speed. The remote switch allowed it to power up. It is just switching a discrete signal so a tiny switch can be used no power is going through this switch. Alternatively you can use a jumper to have it on all the time. Now the speed control is still done with the OEM knob.
To get it to work you connect the CM and FWD or CM and REV for forward and reverse. Either CM should work. I don't think you would ever want to go directly from FWD to REV probably want to wait for it to stop in between. A three position switch with the CM on the center pin would work nice if you wanted a FWD and REV.
If you install a jumper between CM and FWD or reverse, you can use the knob up and down to control it. I would only unplug it when it is at 0.00 and everything has stopped spinning
Things to note, of course they are only 240Volt input. Second on the one I got the knob goes zero to 140Hz or 140 of whatever they are custom displaying. If it is 140Hz that is over double speed so be careful if you are using an old motor that may not handle the over speed well.
Additionally I tried calling FUJI tech support and the guy said he can't tell me anything about the drives as they are custom configured for Hobart. He was surprised that the func and program buttons were locked out
