Japanese Type 30 Barrel Contour

Anybody out there have the contour measurements for a Japanese Type 30 rifle barrel? The 31.4 inch one? Just curious, got a few receivers we are planning on rebarreling with new mfg. barrels in a more modern caliber similar to the original. We want to retain the original contour to fit them in the military stocks.

You think using the Type 30 actions with modern cartridges is a good idea? That model was soon replaced by the Type 38 because of its deficiencies.

We are looking to proof test a prototype of course first. Thoroughly. I would like to know what alloy they are made from, HRC and the like as well. Not a whole lot out there on them. We will probably have one tested for composition and HRC. But at some point it becomes questionable at best to spend that much on a old surplus receiver! For sure the Type 38 will hold the load I'd imagine. Just and excuse to toy around with otherwise useless barreled actions I suppose.
