Project was suspended because Sarco was sold out of Destroyer carbines without bolts.
They are back in stock so I am proceeding with making a couple of bolts and plan to set the barrel back 4mm to shorten the chamber to 9x19 from 9x23.

so what is the psi of the 9 largo compared to the 9 parabellum ? i had two compleat guns and sold them . still have a wooden crate of org. ammo

thanks i was trying two remember if the bolt has just the handle as its locking lug or it there are two ?

It seems the (9 x23) is a pretty good bullet, a decent deer gun for Michigan's lower restricted area, some compare it to the 223 with 5500psi.
Looks as good or better than my S&W 38sp (I Put a new 5" barrel on my 38, (haven't tried it yet) It was near dead nuts with the old barrel.

9x23 and 9mm Largo are like 38 Super and 38ACP, the 9x23 will blow up a Destroyer Carbine!

Years ago, when I was selling Star pistols in 9mm Largo, we would often shorten the chamber to 9mm Para with a sleeve (Loc-Tite in place.) Seemed to work fine.

I have been working on the bolt nose, what I expected to be the most complex part and it is!
The original is made from a casting and has a 90 degree angle cut that I can’t reproduce so I am making it in 2 pieces.
Waiting on some tooling to be able to finish the first parts!
