I've had several questions regarding the end covers, does anyone know if the square dial covers will fit a round dial machine?

Kevin
The base on motor/generator and WiaD square-dials is essentially the same as the base on piggyback exciter round-dials. The covers should interchange.

I wanted to update this thread!

Hopefully over the weekend I will be able to get the machine out and get good pictures of what's available?

This machine does not have a taper or ELSR.....I'm also not selling any tooling right now!
I would like to sell assemblies instead of small parts right now........

Thanks everyone for your interest!

I wanted everyone to know that Kevin was a pleasure to do business with. I purchased the tailstock off this 57 parts lathe, and he was super accommodating, did a great job packaging for shipment, responded quickly, etc. Thank you Kevin!

My apologies to everyone for not responding sooner, super busy rearranging the shop.......should be able to get updated pictures over the weekend!

BSG,
Do you happen to have the spindle lock knob and I am assuming spring that holds the spindle lock up? Thank you!

I have the spindle lock assembly, unfortunately the knob is broken where the pin passes thru, I will get pictures if you still need parts?

Do you happen to have the back 1/2 of the end cover that has the hole for the spindle? 1954 square dial I have is missing that one cover :(

Steve, are you talking about this cover, if so, yes it is still available?

Somebody has modified it. I've never seen one like that. Please post a photo of what you have.

Kevin, Can you find the casting number on the inside of your cover? It should be on the left, towards the bottom. Usually six characters, "EE" followed by a 4 digit number.

Did the manufacturing model 10ee's have a two piece upper headstock cover, I seem to recall some variant of the upper cover, possibly for a pneumatic collet closer mechanism?

The casting number is EE-3436.....

Found another post that may clear some of this up?
