No, Bridgeport made an H head designed for the Hardinge TM and UM mills. The H head is compact in size (short spindle for max head room) and takes Hardinge 2VB collets. Those collets take up to 1/2" shanks and were first used on the circa 1935 Hardinge Cataract Vertical Bench Miller.I believe they were used on the Hardinge TMUM mills.
