I finaly got one Deckel FP4MK

Yesterday I did pay for my first ever Deckel FP4MK
It comes from a research institute so chances are good it is in excellent condition
I am excited to play with it a little before I sell it again
I put it up for sale here

Is the speed selector dial actually red - or an artefact of lighting? Would have thought the light is off an earlier machine too.

Certainly doesn't look like it saw much use, judging by the swarf tray!

It is labeled as a Deckel So I hope it is a Deckel

They drilled holes in the machine table to mount some plastic! What a horror.....But hey, safety first.

Yes And now students reach over the plastic to reach the vice when running if need be

It is reddisch yes

I think this just to reduce the coolant mess.

For that reasson I never use coolant on a milling machine
A squeeze bottle perhaps when needed really bad
