Is that mess of stuff on the front of the head, normal? What's it do, if it is? All I can think is spindle orientation locking, or the like.

Cable management looks to not be a strong suit, but I see it's all up on pallets, so likely just powered up for testing.

Wouldn't touch that thing with 10feet pole.
Either 100% mechanical machine or an unmolested CNC.
That thing is most frankenstein CNC I've seen in a while.
Would have been much better off, selling that thing (unmolested) and buying a Deckel/Maho/Hermle whatever CNC for the money.
