Okuma Genos L250, where is the spindle hours page?

Our shop has some Okuma L250's, and i need to find the spindle hours page to see how much these machines are being ran from day to day. Does anybody know where it is? I've looked around quite a bit personally, so have my machinists and we can't seem to find it. Thank you in advance!

using ChatGPT and other automation solutions, custom machining chatbot?

How are you using this for programming? I told it to write me some g code and it gave me the simplest unusable code possible... i gave it a much more in depth command and it gave me garbage..

    Running out of Machinists

I mean, i get what you're saying. But i also don't think a "button pusher" should be labeled as a machinist either. Just because you can load a part and check it with calipers doesn't make you a machinist. And at this point i wouldn't even call myself a machinist. I'm basically an ME and if you...

The difference being what you base your wages off of... if your affordability column accounts for 1 machinist at one machine at a shop rate of $100 your max pay for profitability is going to be around $30 an hour. Now if you’re paying a high throughput guy who’s keeping multiple spindles...

The problem with market segment is it still changes with locale, for instance.. i've done a TON of work for WL Gore and machine solutions in flagstaff. Medical shit, catheter molds, custom manufacturing equipment for catheters... stints etc.. and what they paid for this comes nowhere close to...

Okay, go look at jobs in northern Arizona and tell me if you find anything over $25 an hour. Then look in Orange County california and lmk if you don’t find anything in the $40-$50 an hr range bud. Then, find me a house in OC that i can buy on $35 an hour, I'm single with kids... $35 an hour...

    Running out of Machinists

If he can't compete in the workforce, he must adjust to make himself competitive. The point being made here is he has now lost 2 of his better hands to local shops who pay better, and is looking at replacing his top machinist. Obviously you can't pay what you don't have, but if you need a top...

That’s outrageous, and area definitely matters. It effects everything. And he is literally asking about a top machinist more along the lines of tool maker. He asked if his price point was correct at $30... and I’m saying it’s not. Especially if it’s near Seattle where burger flippers make $15...

I lived in Phoenix once on $11 grocery store job part time... Can’t do that shit anymore.

    Running out of Machinists

Lol, you’re missing the point. $35 an hour isn’t shit anymore. Especially for someone who’s good. Iron workers and electricians are making way more than us now (and we know who the smarter of the trades are).

It all depends on geographical location tbh. Where I live it’s a lot more expensive than where you live. If the OP is in it near Seattle, it’s not enough.

Jesus, y’all wild... I feel like you old timers who haven’t had a mortgage recently just don’t understand that when you sold your houses for 10-15x what you paid for them, you totally fucked us lol. $35 an hour won’t even buy you a house in some areas.

You clearly have no clue what you're talking about bud lol :D Capable on the floor should be assumed by the OP's post lol. Not that I really care what y'alls feelings are on this anyway, as you know from talking with me previously :D I am a non degreed Manufacturing Engineer these days...

Motion, I can tell you this... I am basically exactly what you're looking for... although i don't have "10 years" (i have 8). I run FeatureCAM, can write my own posts... design in either solid works, inventor OR creo. I wouldn't take this job for any less than $35 an hour, and depending on...

Inventor CAM - C axis increments

I doubt this will work, however... if you go into your post (it's in javascript) and look around you'll find it. I'm fairly certain it's just a yes or a no that needs to be changed. I did this for my st20y about 4 years ago, i just dont remember exactly what i had to do.

having LOTS of weird issues in featurCAM

My first thoughts are: Any post edits made? Do you usually use a MILLMASTER file or just the basic start file config? Pick a wrong post? ALSO, Wheelie... if you need post help let me know. I've written my own posts since i started and have rock solid haas lathe, mill and turn/mill posts
