Mazak Nexus - Error 413 - Max No. of Regist Prog Exceeded

Hi. I just got this annoying alarm and I don't know what to make of it. Is this a hardware limitation or do I need to pay someone to unlock more program slots? The alarm list says the standard limit is only 256 programs. That isn't nearly enough if you work in a job shop like I do.

So I know I can save programs to USB but this is annoying to deal with and it adds setup time. Saving less used programs to disk might be another solution but that's also a hassle. How would you handle this problem?

I don't know if there is a way to add memory to the Nexus controller or not.

Could be worse. My old T-3 controller only stores 16 programs at a time.

I pull in groups of 100 ish programs and save to pc hard drive. then make log of programs. it only take a couple mins to reload a program. and as was stated above. be grateful for 256. your lucky to get ten in a plus control

Alright. Guess ill have to do something like that. I really wish there was a better way though.
