parts catcher issue

Part catcher on a 300LM issue. Arm raises and lowers but the 'bucket' just 'flops'. i assume there is a belt or something in the arm to work the bucket, but can find zero info. Any help appreciated.

There is a chain in the arm that holds it in place. Big thing is to make sure when you replace it to have the right amount of links in there so it is tight otherwise you we be back in the same boat down the road.

Sounds like either the chain came off or broke, or the sprocket slipped.
Also, check the buck itself for damage.
