Afternoon folks.
I've got a turning center on the way, and I believe the voltage was somewhat misrepresented. can anyone tell me what kind of power demands they're getting? I was told by American rotary that I needed a 100hp phase converter to run it, which seems to be a bit excessive, and they quoted me over 15k for it. I realize I should've verified this before, but like I said, I feel like it was misrepresented. Realistically, if the main spindle is 15 hp I wouldn't need much over a 40hp p/c, because starting both spindles at once would be beyond rare for me.
Let me know if ya have any experience/ideas
