We have 3 HP4000-ii. This is the second machine to have damage to the table brake plate. The first machine was down a year. Ellison came in and measured everything that needed to be done to get the correct gap on the brake. We sent a new one out to be ground, it was the wrong size. We could not get them to come out and fix it. After weeks of going back and forth got Doosan came out and they fixed it correctly. Now we have the same brake problem on the same type of machine. The serial numbers are 1 digit apart from each other. We had Ellison come out to fix this machine. They came out and tore it apart. The brake plate was bad? They left two weeks ago and have not come back out to fix the machine? We have called and left messages
and are getting the runaround. Looking for a ligit company to repair this machine.

I can't help with recommendations, but you can try contacting member Locknut to get help (he's with DN Solutions, the successor to Doosan).

I will note that issues with repair are the one thing holding me back from considering DNS as a replacement for my Haas machines - too many stories of difficulties getting timely repair. They really need to address this.

Even though DN factory ultimately fixed the first machine, I suspect it was because Ellison wasn't getting the factory support they needed from DN.

Back when Ellison was a Mori dealer, I recall a few occasions where support was handled by Mori factory techs, especially on more obscure models. Ellison simply didn't have access to the data required to fix certain problems. So DN coming in to fix your first machine's brake plate was not an anomaly, especially since the HP models were discontinued and replaced by NHP shortly after Ellison took the line.

Call DN in Pine Brook, NJ and ask for service.
A lot of the more serious work is handled directly by DN, really not uncommon.

The HP is still sold by DN solutions. My HP's are less than 8 years old? I have texted and called both companies and have gotten no reply as to who will come and fix it or when?
