First Hurco delivery this week!

Our first hurco is being delivered Tuesday. We’ve done all the benchmarking to make sure it’s the machine for us. It’s a bog standard VM20i.

What is specific to hurco that I should check and go through on the machine after commissioning to ensure it’s all installed correctly and that the machine is working correctly?

Try a circle-diamond-square test piece and measure it and feel for axis reversal bumps.

Yes, I was thinking along those lines, but wasn’t sure exactly what to make. I don’t have a CMM to check it but I can use a probe on my sparker eroder. I know that’s not proper but it’ll give a pretty good indication.

I’m sure I’ll get a decent machine and install, but nothing and no one is perfect. (Including me)
