I’m am new to forum, and I am at a stump, I have an issue w/fadal 4020 date1994 and the oil res.tank. I have been in processes of running around this shop and flushing oil tanks, lines disassembling oil way manifolds an cleaning with Kerosene etc. Due to well they need done they were running automotive sae-30 oil for way slides etc! I know but, anyways I started on this VMC an pulled tank/lines man’s. and reassembled with new or clean lines etc. And after that was said and done put air to unit and air is being forced through tank and blowing oil out of fill spout unless I turn the regs way down (15-20lbsmax on first regulator/2nd reg to 0-90lbs). FYI These are located by tank and cntrl op of oil unit. I have disassembled it replaced check valve, oil level sensor, new cone filter for oil canister, new gauges. Reassemble again an same prob.!!! What gives???
And should be noted that w/first attempt I did try and start/warmup of unit/spindle warmup procedure, then wrote a prgm for all axis’ to run through to full - & + of travel for total of 4 full sweeps each. For the timer to do it’s thing with flowing oil. And nadda bit of help etc. anybody have had this issue or knows what the solution(s) are an or where I missed something would be very appreciated!

Have same problem, similar fadal and year, hard to make x axis to lube, you need
to get a hold of air assisted bucket the is been used by fadal mechanics, i used
a bridgeport lub pump but not enough force those lines, overhere they charge $400
for the one hour service, my "y" and "z" good x no good .
