2006 Haas TM1 purchase

Hello I have been doing a lot of reading here on this forum and this seems to be about the best source of machine tool information I can find. Seems like there are allot of knowledgeable machinist who don't mind helping others out. Congratulations.

I have found a tm1 for sale and am close to making a deal. It's for sale with generation machine tools out of Florida.

Has anyone dealt with them before? What was your experience?

Running two of them right now. Not very rigid or powerful, but they work for most of what I do. Easy control to learn. I have one with no tool changer, one with a 10 tool umbrella. We don't have rigid tapping or through spindle coolant, or macros either, which are big helps. If I were buying new, I'd go for something with more gusto (HP and rigidity)

I guess what I was asking was more about who I'd be buying from if anyone knows anything about Generation Machine Tools.
