This board has been locked since 2008, and doo to a SNAFU with the new software yet, this board has not been able to be locked out from new threads, without locking it out of folks replying to the old threads.

I have moved oodles of new threads so far.
Please find a more appropriate board than "Archives" to post your new threads in!

I just noticed this was happening today, was about to send a message to someone. Would think there'd be a switch to flip somewhere.

Why not just merge this "archive" section back with General?

Don originally split this off from the General section because it was getting "too big" for the software at the time. Now General has 3x as many threads and posts as the Archive.

Merge them back together and call it good. The new software can handle the larger files.
