We have a customer source inspector that is causing a stink over Profilometes having yearly inspections stickers.
We calibrate the Surface Standard yearly and the Profilometer unit every two years.
Is there a written industry standard or guidelines for Profilometer and Roughness Standard calibrations?
My view is if the Meter is set to the Roughness Standard and the Ra's repeat, we're good.
