Bought this indexer off ebay. Not sure if it is a legit KO Lee type or a knock off. Cant find any numbers or other id leading me to believe its a knock off of some type but feels really solid. Not sure though, ive never owned one like this before.20221205_144121small.jpg20221205_144123small.jpg20221205_144130small.jpg20221205_144136small.jpg

Doesn't look like a kOLee but if it is free turning with not any grittiness it is a valuable/handy device for TC or surface grinder use.

Good, someone changed the poor title.

Sometimes one can use one index location for the tool lip, and the next click for the clearance... or raise (or lower) the tooth lip for clearance secondary clearance.
with a small chuck, one can sharpen all sizes of end-cutting or OD-cutting tools..

I have a few different index fingers I am going to see what mounts easiest on this. I never thought of using the plate for clearences.

I can't find any photos to see how to use the smaller index ring inside the larger plate. That's why I was seeing if there was a model number to see if this is Frankensteined together from a few different pieces or if I saw the original it would help me replicate it.

Or possibly the smaller ring could be used on the opposite side to set the distance the spindle sticks out? Or length of travel for it?

Just guessing if it is originally part of it

QT (I never thought of using the plate for clearences.)
Actually looks like the distance from one index notch to the next is too much distance.
360*/24* would be 15* so pretty big difference from primary to secondary.

Possibly a grinding attachment from a clarkson tool and cutter grinder. We have two types at work in storage but we are missing all the attachments for them!
