Trying to get an EDNC-32 running I picked up at an auction earlier this year. Has MGC control. First thing I found is a stuck solenoid that kept the electrode from clamping. I swapped it with the changer arm solenoid so it clamps the electrode. My issue now is when in manual, touch is not working at all. This is a very nice machine, had an upgraded lcd screen added at some point. I’m hoping I can get this think operational.

Still haven't been able to get this emergency stop alarm off. Happened I think, and it might have just been a coincidence, when I was pulling the head cover off to see if there was any wire off causing the touch not to work. There is nothing I could see as far as any wire that might have been pulled out while removing the cover. I've had this cover off before to fix the z axis travel dial. I'm sure there's limited knowledge about this old of a machine.

gtrjunkie,

Have you tried calling Makino Service and Technical Support at 888-625-4664? We still fully service and support this machine model, and as a fact, we never discontinue parts and support for our machines!
