What does this button do on my(work) Sinker EDM ZNC

Hello, I am new here, I am an apprentice tool & diemaker. I have been teaching myself how to use our ZNC DS-550 Oscarmax sinker. I cannot for the life of me find in the manuals or online what this button does. It is the only picture I have available, however, most of the oscarmax edm sinkers have this button. I have had no luck getting a response from oscarmax.

Absolute wild guess looking at the picture... big trodes switch off, small detailed electrode switch on (and light) or maybe press on when using trodes that have drafted side walls?

Press it, what does it do when burning?

I have not been able to notice a huge difference, but I have little experience overall. My initial though was for blind holes with no clearance round it, I will keep messing around with it.

It also does not turn on the lamp, the lamp has its own switch. It lights up yellow when on, and unlit when off.

I meant when switch is on and illuminated it will refer to the lower picture and those settings...

Oh, yes, I'm sure that's what the led on indicates. I tested it out with it off, and it "feels" like it's burning more quickly. It might be for fine machining.
