Agie Elox Mondo 20
Machine starts, moves. There is info missing from screens. If I page next there is a screen with 20 boxes that usually has numbers, the boxes are grey and there is no numbers.
Seems like some info is not getting thru.

Is that the erosion page? It’s been a few years since i used a mondo.

Thanks for reply. ON start up I can page thru 3 screens, job creation, setup, and process optimizer. All of these screens have missing info. I would say it is operating system screens .It Should post "erosion hours" then "gap voltage"
I mean the words "gap voltage", not the 200volts info that changes.
I am now seeing CMOS battery low now.

The battery is on motherboard. Based upon the age of the machine the battery is either
a soldered barrel type battery in upper right hand corner or a coin type cr2032.
Does this machine have a hard drive?

There is not a hard drive. it has a motherboard that looks like the old PC motherboards. I looked for the 2032 battery only. I'll look closer.

the battery is in upper right corner of motherboard. see pic

That is what I have battery wise. pins to the left are 4 pin pattern with one pin missing to make a 3 pin. To the left of that is a 2 pin with a jumper on it. Mine does not say ext batt. says J7. You know I am looking to hang an 18650 cell. Will two of those 3 pins work?

I would pull the motherboard, remove old battery, then replace with
new. does not have to be barrel type.

once you replace battery you will need to reprogram bios.
you will need to get an old keyboard with AT style connector
to attach to motherboard in connector next to battery, then
hit delete at boot to get into BIOS. use settings attached.
Save changes

should i get a NiMH battery or lithium?

Either will work
