how can I figure if either of these foot pedals will work with my welder?
The welder plug in remote receptacle has19 pins.
One of the foot petals has a 19 pin connector and one has 14 pins. On he former it seems to match the five active pins of the plug as related to petal operation.
Both foot petals are 25 OHMS , the 19 is 2.0 watts, the 14 pin is 1.75.
They are as follows:
Pin A) Contactor Ckt. (+15 V)
Pin B) Contactor Ckt. (A-B closure turns power source in
Pin H) Remote Control Maximum (High side of remote potentiometer
Pin J)
Remote Control Input (Wiper of remote potentiometer)
Scaling: 0 to ±10 V =0 - 375 Amps
0 to ±10 V =0 - 44 Volts
0 to ±10 V =0 - 440 For Pulse
Pin K) Remote Control Minimum (Low side of remote potentiometer)
I also have the schematics for the welder that I can upload upon request. No reference in the technical manual of the foot petal compatibility.
