Hi all!

I've been looking for a service manual for my late 70s datsun CFG103 propane forklift. I called the dealer and they want approx $350 for it, which I dont really think is too reasonable...or maybe its just me being old :)...anyway, will pay a reasonable fee for one if someone has one laying around they dont use. Thanks guys.

Well...it might be that rare. I have a Datsun (Nissan) CFG105. My attempts to find documentation have been quite unproductive, so far.

Best,
Chris

Snypr,

That is interesting. Mine is rated at 5000 pounds. I wonder how different the machines would be.

Thanks,
Chris

Hey Chris,

Good question....I am always looking for a CFG103, but never can seem to find any....
I hope these work out for you...

Hey snypr : I tried to contact you by P.M. yesterday, but not sure if it went thru. I am back off vacation and I do have a service manual for CFG 101 thru 105. I don't want to sell it, but could copy some pages. Contact me if interested.

Hello. I know that this thread is almost 10 years old. But it shows my desperation. I am desperately in need of the manual you offered to make copies of. If you are still around, alive, and by the grace of God still on this forum, could I please get copies of that manual from you ?

Wow, that is awesome. I appreciate your prompt reply.

I have a Datsun cfg-105. I purchased it off of marketplace for $1200 and it's a great lift truck , just needs little work. I have a stuck e brake, inoperable master cylinder , brake issues .... I also was told that this truck can use gas and or LP. I do see a tank for gas but I don't believe it's been used for a very long time. There are a lot of questions I have and I was hoping I could someone locate a repair \service manual. I did locate a service manual for the H20 Nissan motor that is in the truck , but that doesn't cover anything chassis related and was hoping I could at least be guided towards some resources that could help me. I own my own auto repair shop, gas and diesel service shop , but have minimal experience with lift trucks and I am interested in working on them. Any help that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Hey James, I am also in the same boat as the original poster. I have a cfg 103 and I can't find a manual anywhere.

msingleton: I just found your inquiry about the manual for the Datsun/Nissan fork lift. I have a service manual for my cfg 103. I did have it copied once and put on a memory stick for a guy in California. I may still have it on a memory stick somewhere if I can find it. I did not have it copied to paper. If I can find it, I would make you a copy for $35.00. P.M. me if interested.

I saw your reply regarding a digital copy of the manual. I would definitely be interested in a copy for $35.

"Interested in working on them".........my nephew was a qualified dealership car mechanic (technician ,they call em).....anyhoo,he was interested in forklifts from the rates I told him forklift mechanic s got..........he lasted three days.....he said I never seen so much filth ,food garbage inside machines, every part impossible to work on,old packaging and rags wound around everthing, and actual rats living in forklifts.......I said ...Yah ,thats forklifts.
